Emily Barkann
Field Producer / Writer
Emily Barkann graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in 2019 with a major in Broadcast and Digital Journalism and minors in Political Science and Sport Management. While at Syracuse, Emily served as Panhellenic President and rowed on the Women’s Crew Team.
After college, Emily worked as an Associate Producer at NFL Films where her work on the show NFL 100 Greatest & All-Time Team won a 2020 National Sports Emmy Award for Outstanding Trans-Media Sports Coverage. Her work also appeared in multiple programs including HBO’s Emmy-Award nominated show, Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Oakland Raiders and Showtime’s Inside the NFL.
Emily is currently working for LaurEllen Productions as a Field Producer and Writer while pursuing her JD at the Thomas R. Kline School of Law at Drexel University.
In her spare time, Emily enjoys exercising, cooking and spending time with her family, friends and of course her puppies.
